Mardon is set up for guests travelling by car - it's on the A96 with gated parking, and the nearest shops (Tesco Extra and the retail park) are under a mile away. Public transport links are limited in the immediate area, so a car or taxi is recommended.
Is free parking available?

Will guests hear traffic or railway noise?

Mardon is beside the A96 and close to the railway, which makes it convenient for drivers and airport journeys. Some guests may notice road or rail noise, particularly in front-facing rooms.
How many guests does the Main House sleep?

The Main House sleeps up to 5 guests across 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin) plus a sofa bed in the living room.
How many guests does the Annex sleep?

Can both properties be booked together?

The Main House and Annex are booked as two separate reservations, each with its own private entrance, kitchen and bathroom. Both can be booked for the same dates for a group of up to 8.
What is the minimum stay?

2 nights at both properties.
What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM. Please provide your expected arrival time in advance. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
What is the cancellation policy?

More than 30 days before arrival: full refund. 14-30 days before arrival: 50% refund. Within 14 days of arrival: non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance.
Is a damage deposit required?

Yes - a refundable damage deposit of £375 is collected by bank transfer 7 days before arrival and returned within 7 days of check-out, subject to inspection.
How is payment made?

Payment is made by bank transfer before arrival. Instructions are provided after the booking is confirmed.
Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed at Mardon.
Are children welcome?

Yes, children of any age are welcome. Guests under 18 must check in with a parent or guardian. Cots and extra beds are not available.

How does cleaning work?

A professional clean is included with every booking (around £140 per stay) so the property is reset for your arrival.

Yes, quiet hours are 00:00-07:00. No parties or hen/stag events at either property.
